Nana's Lemon Bars


Ingredients for Crust
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Butter
1/4 cup Sugar

Directions
Mix the three ingredients together in a mixer. Pat into a 9x9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.



Ingredients for Lemon Filling
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 TBS Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
Juice of 2 Lemons
Zest of 1 Lemon

Directions

Mix all ingredients until combined. Pour lemon mixture over hot crust. Return to oven and bake for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with Powdered Sugar.

  1. I love lemon bars!!! Maybe this recipe could work with Haden's allergies...sometimes the old recipes are the easiest to re work!
