Life Lately

I had a lovely site visit with a bride yesterday! A gorgeous old church and a rooftop where we are creating a forest! Can't wait to share it with you come August!

This week an article about my story was featured in Northwest Mama Magazine. I was very honored and thankful! You can read it here.

Working on another project out of antique doors...

Lot's of scouting and buying for the Attic.

And easter shopping with Sophie G!

Restful Weekend

I scored a few unique pieces for the Attic today! Thanks to a wonderful family friend. I have been looking for tarnished silverware and quilts and they just came my way. Love it when that happens!

Sophia has been crawling all over and getting into EVERYTHING!

She climbed up on her daddy and fell asleep just like this twice this weekend. So cute!

We also got her a new big girl car seat. She is almost 29" long is just isn't fitting in the little one anymore.

Lot's of fun happening over at Alisa Lewis Event Design. Website to debut soon and lots of meetings with brides. We toured an amazing wedding venue in our town yesterday...barn, silos, gazebo, twinkle lights, meadows, pond...the whole bit...GORGEOUS! Soon we are headed out to the lake to tour a birch grove one of my lovely brides discovered to host her wedding on the banks of Lake Coeur d'Alene...I am beyond excited to style that wedding! Thank you lovely brides for hiring me!

February 1st Update

I've been a busy bee and I'm loving it. "Make it Happen" is definitely my perspective on life right now! My new business ventures are happening, my baby girl is growing, and life is good!

I recently was hired to style a wedding! I was brought on about a week before the event. I did help styled the bridal and bridal party pictures with my props. For the reception, I used the props the family had already purchased and incorporated some of my own to create a winter wonderland ice skating feel. The outside pictures turend out fabulous! Zach Mather's Photography took the one above. The venue was the most difficult space I've had to work with but we made it happen! I can't wait to show you before and after pics! Below is a little cell phone pic I took. White trees are not really my thing but they worked!

This past weekend I participated in Cutom Weddings Norhtwest. I am part of this amazing community of talented wedding professionals in our area. The event was great! Here's a few snapshots of my space. I designed 3 booths myself and provided props to a total of 7 booth spaces!

Sophia just learned to crawl over the weekend. It's so cute but now we have to work on making things safe around the house!

This weekend I also helped with a few photoshoots at The Blackwell House, my newest project. More info to come!

Mama Blessings

Spent the weekend with Kyle and our darling little peanut! She and Big D are becoming best buds! She looks for him every morning when she wakes up.

The best thing about my weekend...she started to babble "mamamamama" all weekend! So sweet! What a blessing to hear your little one call you "mama" when she sees you!

This week Alisa's Garden teamed up with Mary Banducci Photography to bring you some festive drink recipes! Up first is a Sparkling Pomegranate Persimmon Martini on Monday Morning!

Sophia is 6 months old today!

Our sweet little one is six months old today! Where does the time go?!
She is such a blessing and so precious! We love how her little personality is starting to shine! She is sitting  up all by her self now. She wants to crawl SO bad but hasn't quite figured it out yet.

She had her six month check up today and is in the 90th percentile for height but only about 15 pounds. She's definitely taking after the Lewis side...tall and skinny! She LOVES to eat her solids now but only enjoys what mama cooks...none of that jarred stuff. Butternut squash, apples, cucumber, avocado, grapes, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes.

Here's a little progression from birth through five months.
